It is almost over, and I had a wonderful day.
With all the fixins' and now really stuffed.

Thanks to everyone who visited my blog today.

Here is a card that I did a couple years ago. I had a lot of ladies liking this card and the sentiment.
Enjoy...

Isn't he the most gorgeous Turkey you ever seen.
Just adorable and cute.

This is the inside of the card.
Love the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and come back again.

Have a delicious birthday

Hope you enjoyed those really nice days we just had. I was wondering if that was our Indian Summer Days. Well, lets hope not because we could use a few more nice days before that cold weather comes.

On to my card.
I need a birthday card, so why not make one.
I thought turquoise, mambo melon and black would look great together.
I love the turquoise and mambo melon together.
Isn't the border of hats and presents cute?
It is a Martha Stewart border punch.
And the first time to use it, too.
I like it and hope to use it again real soon.
I am not to fond of the cake stamp, but it worked.
Love the sentiment stamp. I got it from The Stamp Pad in Zoar, Ohio.
If you need to know who makes it, let me know, I will check my stamp and see what company it comes from and let you know.

That's it for now. Hope to see you in a day or two with a few more cards.
I am working on my next Card Class which is in a couple weeks.

Thanks for stopping by.

Make a wish

Love this card, it is so pretty. I made this card for a special friend. Happy Birthday Susan, I know it was a while ago, but just now getting the card on my blog for everyone to see. I used this card for one of my classes and everyone loved it and commented on how nice the card was. Some of the ladies even said it was there favorite for the day. The designer paper is so pretty. I need to look up the name of the company for the paper, I never can remember who makes the paper. I put the card on the computer in a different room then my scrappin room, so it is difficult to find out all the supplies that I use. The paper is really old and probably not available today. I sure wish I would have bought 25 sheets of it. I think this would make an awesome Christmas Card. Must be the red and olive green mixed together.
I stamped the Make a wish with the window word punch and layered it on red with the modern label punch. More dimensional here, too.
All the punches are from Stampin Up.
The squares are punched 1 inch with the design paper and 1 1/4 inch on the red card stock. I also pupped up the designer paper with a pop up. It gave the card a lot of dimension. With a black sheer bow and large green brads, wow this makes an awesome card.

Thank You for checking out my creations.
Please leave a comment, I cherish every one of them. It means a lot to me.

Love is for the Birds

Aren't these birds the cutest. and love the hearts.
I made this card an anniversary card. Love the sentiment.
Perfect for a couple love birds that are having an anniversary.
The love birds are from There She Goes Rubber Stamps along with the sentiment also. This is a great set of stamps. You can find them on the right side of my blog and click the name Jessica Knutsen. She is the owner of There She Goes. If you would like a set of these stamps, let me know. I can get them for you.
I colored the image with Tombow Markers.
My color combo is pink, yellow and blue. Totally awesome together.

Come back again to see more of my creations.
Thanks for stopping by...

Sorry for MIA so long

So sorry for MIA so long, it has been a hectic 2 weeks. Just to much going on.
I hope to get some cards on here real soon.

Here is a card I made a couple weeks ago.
Thank you for checking back. Hope the next time it won't be so long.

I just love this Changito Monkey. He is a cutie and from Stampendous Rubber Stamps. And the blue and red is a great combo. I colored him with prisma watercolor pencils and a few markers.
I used a Darice Embossing folder to make the dots on the red layer of card stock. I think Darice makes the cutest Embossing Folders. Love, love love the gingham blue ribbon. Well, hope you liked my card and hope you come back real soon. Thank you for stopping by.

With Deepest Sympathy

I made these cards a while ago and wanted to show them to you. I like the flower as the main focal point, it shows up so well. But then, maybe it shouldn't be so bright and bold. So I made another card and didn't put the flower on it, instead I added a small blue rhinestone. It is more toned down somewhat. I think it is all in what the person likes or prefers.
I started with a piece of black cardstock, I ripped out a page from (a not so favorite) book and tore the edge. Glued the torn page to the black cardstock. I stamped the background with a distressed stamp. I like how it distressed the words from the page.
The tag is from Kraft cardstock that has rounded corners. I stamped the Sympathy words on white paper and punched out with the fancy frame punch. Added the flower and crystal rhinestones in the center of the flower and on the small swirl in the middle of the image. And of course I needed to add ribbon somewhere to the card. I think that is my trademark on a card. (Ribbon). I turned the top of the ribbon to make a loop and glued it between the Kraft and white paper.

more toned down than the first card
I think they are both very nice cards.

Paper and Ribbon are both from my stash
Stamp images and Punch are both from Stampin Up.

Hope you enjoyed my cards today and come back again.
Thank You.

It's your Birthday, Wish Big

I wanted to show you a Birthday card that I made for my nephew.
I didn't want it to sissy looking for him. So I just added a balloon brad and some jute string. The design paper from Karen Foster has all about a birthday, so it worked well for him.
I colored the Big with Tombow Markers. I think it is cute and my nephew will love it.

Thanks for stopping by and come back again soon.

Cute Candy Bar Purse

Here is a candy bar or a treat purse I made a couple weeks ago.
So cute and easy to make.
Holds a mini size candy bar or a lipbalm stick.

 another view of the purse

I added black ribbon for the handles, I think it works better than the paper ones that I seen on the internet. And of course lots of bling. The bling is from a sticker sheet. Last but not least, I used a library clip for the closure.

Thank you for stopping today
Hope to see you again real soon.

September 12, 2011

Birthday Wishes

I wanted to make a clean and simple card with lots of color.
I think this one will fit the challenge.
I used Kraft paper and some design paper to accent the flowers.
I stamped the flowers, colored them with Tombow Markers and then cut them out.
Then I painted the flowers with glossy effects. Then I punched the corners on the top of the card.
Added some ribbon and done.

Stamps: There She Goes (Dance)
Paper: My Stash
Embellishments: Corner Punch, Ribbon and Brads.

Thank you for stopping in today and hope you will come back again soon.

Happy Birthday Poppies

Here is a very pretty Poppy Card that I made last month.
I love the orange color of the poppies, I colored my poppies with a Tombow Marker the same color as my sister's poppies. She has oodles of them. I have only one poppy plant and it is white with a deep purple center. It is pretty, but I love the orange poppies.

The Poppy Stamp is from Hero Arts
Paper and Ribbon are from my stash.

                               Here is my sister's Poppies...
                               aren't they pretty?

Thank You for stopping by...

If Friends were flowers, I'd pick you

I seen this adorable bear and just had to have him. I love daisies too, so it was easy to buy him.
I colored him with prisma pencils and blended with OMS.
The daisy is a die cut from MFT and I put 2 flower together with a yellowy/green brad that I put glitter on myself.
I stamped the sentiment on the designer paper. I liked how it looked and I wouldn't have to add another layer of paper for it.
I don't remember the name of the other designer paper, it was in my stash and I liked all the colors and the flowers on it. Went perfect with my bear and daisies.

Stamps: Oopsy Daisy (Bear) My Favorite Things
Thanks for checking out my blog and I hope you will come back again soon.

Happiness comes through doors

I loved this happiness sentiment, so perfect for a special friend or family member.
This is adorable with the heart embossing folder and the heart designer paper.
Of course I had to add ribbon, so I thought do polka dot to match some of the hearts on the designer paper.
I liked the black card stock, it brings out the other images so well.

Thank you for stopping by. Your comments are always appreciated.

Clam Chowder Day

For my Club Card for the month of August,
I was given this stamped apron on sea shells design paper.
Now to make the card using the apron. It was a little difficult for me. But this is what I came up with.
I used the cooking background stamp from Great Impressions for the background and on slate blue paper. I found the word Recipe on another stamp from Great Impressions, so that worked for the sentiment. Oh so clever me, thought with all the sea shells on the paper, I needed a clam chowder recipe to put in the pouch of the apron. I found a recipe, copied it and stuck in the opening. Added the bakers twine for the strings and the bow. What do you think?

Inside of the card
I cut out the shells from the remaining designer paper and pop dotted them on the black band.
The inside sentiment stamp is from Great Impressions.

Thank you for visiting my blog and come back soon...

Enjoy a relaxing day

I love making these Easel Cards.
They always end up so pretty.
I made this card thinking of something elegant. I think it sure did end up very pretty. Maybe not elegant, but close to it.
I made the flower from a diet coke pop can, and the #2 flower die. I added a biggy black brad in the center of the flower to keep it together. I have seen them all over blogland a while ago. Now they aren't so popular. But I wanted to show you how pretty those diet coke pop cans can make a gorgeous flower. I cut the leaves by hand and put a crease in them a little to add dimension to the leaves.

Left angle of the card.

Right angle of the card opened.

This is the front of the card closed.

This is the inside when fully opened up.

Stamps I bought from the Stamp Pad in Zoar, I don't remember who made them. If you are interested in them, let me know and I will see what the company name is on the stamps. My paper is from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by

Happy Father's Day

I know I am late with this card, but I wanted to show it to you anyway.
Love the browns and blues together.
I used some punches and some twine and of course the lighthouse is a manly image.
Perfect for any father.
I purchased the lighthouse stamp at a dollar store and the sentiment stamp is from SU.
Design Paper is from Karen Foster. And added some twine to accent it off.

Thanks for stopping by and come back soon.

For Someone Special

I just had to have this stamp from Impression Obsession, I knew the little umbrellas would look perfect on this card. I got the umbrellas from Oriental Trader. Yes, I only have 144 of them. Not sure what drink is this color of green. I go to this authentic Mexican Restaurant and a lot of people order the green drinks in those big glasses. So that is where I came up with the color of the drink.

The umbrella is open a little bit and smashed some to get it to lay flat on the card. I attached it with some glue dots.

The green drink and the leaves are colored with prisma pencils and the orange hearts and dots are colored with Tombow markers.
The sentiment label is from Stampin Up.

Thanks for stopping in and see you soon

Wishing you the best of everything

Love this clean and simple card.
I think it looks very elegant, and the rhinestone really set it off. The rhinestones didn't show up very well in this picture, but they are gorgeous. I don't know if you noticed the 3 rhinestones at the bottom along with the 3 under the word Everything. Maybe pearls would have shown up better. I will have to try them the next time.
Inside the card, I added more Design Paper with hearts and a Birthday sentiment.

Design Paper is from Creative Imaginations,
          the Marah Johnson Collection,
Stamp is from There She Goes
Martha Stewart Heart Punch
Old Olive Ink
Diamond Rhinestones.

Thank you for stopping by.  And see you the next time.

Thank You (Strawberry)

This is so gorgeous, love the red color.
What do you think of the background paper? Of course you can see that I just stamped the Thank You stamp all over the front of the card.

The strawberry I colored with Tombow markers and added the glossy effects to make it shinny.  Punched the circles for the layered look. I added pop ups on the circles to raise it off the card. I like to poked holes in the scallop green circle, it gives the card an additional look. Gorgeous little mint green brads are in the center of the flowers. Isn't this card so cute. Very colorful.
.

I have seen the background stamping on There She Goes Blog. Jessica does a lot of backgrounds with her stamps. I think it makes a pretty card using the background stamps. A lot cheaper than Designer Paper. Thanks Jessica for the inspiration on background stamping.

Stamps: There She Goes and Flourishes
Paper: My Stash
Punches: Stampin Up

Birthday Wishes

Love the colors of this card, the purple ribbon is so pretty with the black paper.
I stamped two of the flowers with the purple ink and then one in the middle with black.
Added some diamond rhinestone here and there and wow so pretty.

Also I did the border with the scalloped Stampin Up border punch. Love how this turned out.
Stamps: There She Goes.
Ink: Stampin Up and Memento Black
Paper: from my stash (Purple, Black and White)
Ribbon and Rhinestones: Memories

Thank You for stopping by, see you the next time.

The Butterfly

Sorry, forgot to let you know what I used to make the Yellow Butterfly Card.

The Butterfly used in my card is a Nestibilities Dies.
And Susan, if you want to use it, let me know.

Butterfly

Here is the prettiest butterfly card.
It is called an Easel card.
I love making these cards, they are so pretty and easy to do.

and here is other positions of the card

 and one more position

The card is made with yellow card stock, design paper and vellum.
I ran the design paper and the vellum through the cuttlebug using the scripted A 2 folder to give the paper more texture.
Sponged the vellum paper with distressed ink.
Then added 2 flower centers for the antennas and small beads for the body.
I think the butterfly is adorable.
I thought it would make a pretty birthday card.

Thanks for stopping in.
Hope to see you back here again soon.

I have been trying to access my blog for 2 week now and finally, it works.
I don't know what went wrong with it.
At least now it is working and hope it doesn't go away again anytime soon.

Should have a couple cards ready in a little bit.

now that it is working.

Friends Fur-ever

I think this is the cutest kitty. The stamp set is a clear set and I think it is from Inkadinkado.
I love how the red sets off this card, and the designer paper is from Imaginations. It is just perfect for this card. Love it. I colored the kitty with prisma watercolor pencils and blended it with a blender pen.
I added a small circle border to the left side, and the border is called Die Namics from My Favorite Things. These Die Namics are awesome and there is so many of them to choose from. I love the paw prints added to the stand up part of the card.

This is the front view of the card.

This is another view of the easel card.

This is the inside of the easel card

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog.
Enjoy your evening.

This is no day for just a sliver

I can't believe it has been so long since I have added a post.
I think I am to busy getting ready for my next workshop.
I have my May workshop cards to add sometime, too.
This birthday card is from April workshop.
And believe it or not, I am having my June workshop this Saturday.

So crazy and not enough time in a day.
But then, that is my life style now a days.
Sorry for not posting my new cards when I get them ready.
I hope I can get caught up and be more ready to post at least 3 or 4 times a week.

Anyway this card was so cute with all the cakes lined up across the card. And I love the balloon paper, and with this card being from April, I have no idea the name of the paper. I added Glitter to the strings on the balloons. Turned out really cute. This stamp set is from Stampin Up and the hats and present punch is from Martha Stewart.
Thank you for stopping by today.
Have a great week.

Dare to Dream

There is new die cute out there in blog land called Die Namics, from My Favorite Things. They are the cutest shapes, borders and even doilies. They are fabulous. This Kite is one of them. The tails even come with the die. I used some small jute for my string.

The scallop is a border punch from Stampin Up. I think that is my most favorite punch from there. I use it all the time.

I found some awesome background paper for my kite. Love the clouds in the paper. It is from Imaginesce. I know that isn't how you spell that, but it works for me. I will have to look at the paper and see how it is spelled and keep it on my desk for the next time. I have quite a stack of paper from there. Love it.

I bought the stamps a while ago and didn't pay attention who made them, so if you are interested in them, let me know and I can get you the company that makes them.

Well, that is it for me tonight, maybe I can get more cards posted tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by.

Get Well

This is for all the Lantern lovers out there. Isn't this the prettiest one you've seen in a while?

The colors are very colorful and love the distressed look.

I used my crimper that I actually had to dust it off because I haven't used it in so long. After I colored the image, I run it through the crimper, then distressed it. Very easy to do.

I made a card like this at Robin's, but when I wanted to make one, I hadn't bought the Easter stamp from Stampin Up for the flowers, so I used the new Flourishes stamp. I think it is called Love Letters.

The background is made by using the Lattice Folder in the Cuttlebug.

All the punches used are Stampin Up and the paper is from my stash.

Thanks for checking out my blog.

Have a great week.

Birthday Wishes

Love, Love these purses. And they are made with the cupcake punch from Stampin Up. Who would have thought that huh?

I punched the purses with 3 different design papers and added the closure and handle. The closure is the small oval and the handle is the medium size oval with the little oval cut out of the middle.
Perfect card for a lady who loves purses, like my daughter. She is now selling 31 Purses. Yep, I need to send her this card. She would love it.

(Hey Chris, here is you card in case it doesn't get in the mail soon. I know it isn't your birthday, but wanted you to see the card.)

Of course added some ribbon and rhinestones and a perfect card.

Have a great week and come back again.

Mr. & Mrs.

Isn't this the cutest wedding card. There is so many versions of this card in the blog world. This is what I came up with.

Love the flowers and butterflies lace, and this is adorable on this card.

All the hearts are punched out with the large heart punch from Stampin Up along with the 2 different sized ovals.

I added some rhinestones to the bride hearts and black gel dots for the buttons on the groom heart. Don't you love the bow tie, it was hand cut.

The background is the Cuttlebug folder, don't know what the name of it is, but it was lacy and I thought it would be great for this card.

Side view.
Thanks for coming back to check out my new posts.

Happy Birthday Circles

I needed a colorful birthday card. And this is what I come up with. Aren't these colors great together?

I glued all the circles on and then added the silver stars that come on a sticker sheet. I know the picture doesn't show the stars very good. But that is what is on the circles. The flash on my camera went crazy with the stars shinning.

The Design Paper is from Bo Bunny and the card stock is from my stash.

Stamps and punches are from Stampin Up.

The Scallop Border is from My Favorite Things called Die Namics. The Die Namics are steel dies that you run through your Big Shot or Cuttlebug. You need to check them out on My Favorite Things web site. Let me know if you are interested in any of them.

Wow, second post of the day. I am doing great so far.

Hope to add a few more tomorrow. I have a great Wedding Card to show you and very easy to make. So stop back in tomorrow and hope I have time to put it on here for you to see.

Until then,

Happy Stampin.

Have a beautiful day

Finally getting back to posting.
I just love this cutie, and isn't this so cute.
This Bear is a stamp from There She Goes Rubber Stamp Company.
The set is called Back in 10. Isn't that a perfect Title for this set.
I colored the bear image with Prisma Watercolor Pencils. This give the image a soft look.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts Company.
The Martha Stewart Border Punch used on the bottom of the card went perfect to finish off this card.
Only thing left to add was the ribbon and just about all my cards have ribbon on them. This is Royal Blue Grosgrain Ribbon.

Happy Mother's Day

I want to wish all you Mothers out there a

Very Happy Mother's Day

and hope you have a special day with your children.

Happy Easter to you

Just wanting to wish you and your family a Happy Easter.

I know that this is a Birthday Card,

but it is the only card I could find with Easter Flowers on it.

It could be made into a Easter Card very easy.

Love the colors of the tulips.

Gorgeous Spring colors.

The Tulips are made with the Bird punch from Stampin Up by using the wing only.

The leaves are the branch from the same punch.

Cute huh?
Thanks for stopping by and hope you had a wonderful Easter.
Until the next time, happy stamping.

Owl Birthday Card (a different look)

Here is another Owl Birthday Card. This owl is the new stamp from Stampin Up. Isn't he a cutie. All you do is ink him up and punch him out and adhere it to the card. How easy is that.
I used the same design paper that was on the other owl card. I love this paper, it is so cute with all the different owls on it.

I punched out scallop circles in 2 different sizes and popped them up on the card, added the owl and the sentiment. After that I added some ribbon and a button on top of the bow.

Until next time,

Birthday Owl

Boy, it has been a long time since I posted a new card that I made.
Hope you like this Owl card, I think it is so cute. This owl punch is awesome. It makes the cutest owl's ever. If you don't have one, I think it's time for you to get one.
*

I am so terrible remembering the designer paper I use, my problem is I make the card and it takes me forever to get it posted and I forget the company that makes this awesome paper. Then when I post it, the computer is in another room and I don't want to go and hunt for the paper to see who made it. But if you like it, let me know and I will see who makes it and let you know.

Thanks for stopping in and visiting my blog.

This card was made from several punches and the nesties die cuts.

April 9, 2011

Thanks

This is the most gorgeous tree I have seen in a long time.

I liked the hearts on the tree.

I don't remember the company that made this paper, I bought it from Great Impressions.

The little red hearts in the paper goes perfect with the tree stamp.

I added some sheer white ribbon and that made the card so pretty.

This is the inside of the card. Really simple. Hope you enjoyed checking out my card. Come back again. Thank You.
