Spring Time

Another colorful Spring Card.
Love all the awesome colors of Spring.
And this card sure has a lot of them.
All the stamps are from Great Impressions.
Tombow Markers were used for coloring.
Design Paper is from Bo Bunny.
Inside I added the sentiment Wish you a happy Spring.
I added a small duckling image by the sentiment.

For Someone Special

Isn't this just gorgeous...
Love the colors of this card. And the flowers in the jars are so pretty.
All of the stamps on this card are from Great Impressions. And the pink DP is awesome. Can't remember who makes it or where I purchased it. The Pink DP was a 12 x 12 and I just needed a little strip for the top of this card. I almost didn't want to cut it, but then why save it for another day. So I chopped it up. Anyway, I attached it by putting spots of glue where the paper was wide enough to add the glue. It worked well and it stayed on the card okay. Just this little flap opens up to a birthday sentiment. The coloring was with the Tombow Markers since I haven't had time to experiment with the copic yet. I only have a few copics, but I do want to learn to color with them.

Happy Spring

While I am on a Spring Thing, here is another card I made for my April Workshop. This little duck is the cutest. And all the flowers, I hope I colored them the right colors. I colored everything with Watercolor Pencils and blended them. I stamped the duck on a Nestie Oval and matted it with the next bigger size Scallop Nestie Oval. Punched a border trim with a MS Punch. Added some sheer white ribbon and done. Inside it has Happy Spring and a flower. I also had some yellow sheer ribbon and I liked the yellow also.

Happy Easter Treats

Isn't this the cutest? This is one of the treats that I gave my grandchildren for Easter. Can you believe not CHOCOLATE. It was kind of messy to make, but worth the effort to have something for my grandchildren. It was terrible getting the piece of wood through that sticky marshmallow bunny. I had a some mess ups where the wood came out of the bunny's belly and the wood didn't do anything with the flavor, I just had to eat the mess ups. This is my favorite Easter Candy. I need these marshmallow things for every Holiday. And I have a brother-in-law that buys me some every Holiday. Plus I need to get me some also. I never have a shortage on them. Anyway, I made the tag with the Top Note Die and just stamped Happy Easter on one side of the die and the other side of the tag I stamped a bunny with a carrot. I stapled the tag on the cello bag and added a bow.

I hope it's a blast

I made this owl card for the club that I belong to. The theme was anything with an OWL. I think I love the black, orange and white colors. Being Halloween colors, which is my favorite holiday with the exception of Christmas. I should have taken my picture with a white background. You can hardly see the card, the base card is black. What was I thinking? Hope you can see what you really need to see on this card. I just love the little orange flowers with the white brad centers. The owl is a clear stamp from Joann's and maybe a stamp set from Inkadinkado. That is what I think I seen on the package. Inside the card was a birthday sentiment.

Happy Birthday Bird Nest

Yep, another pretty card. Isn't this the prettiest bird nest. I stamped it on glossy paper with Memento Tuxedo Black. This ink dries quick and it is needed on glossy paper. You could also use Stazon or India Ink. I colored this image with Tombow Markers and no smear or nothing. Layered it several times and added a bow and the card was done. This was a very quick and easy card. I bought this stamp over the weekend and didn't even look at the company, so if you need to know, let me know and I sure will see who made it for you. The DP is from Memories. I didn't sponge it at all, that is the way it came, already antiqued. *

Happy Birthday Daisies

Hello everyone, hope you had a nice week end.
I made this card with the new Great Impressions stamp of the month. I think the card turned out so pretty. Just love it. I started by folding a white base card in half, then I added the strip of white that was border punched with the lacy scallop punch. I used a Cuttlebug A2 Folder for my white layer on top of the base card. Then I added the Pink DP and layered the Daisy image on a medium pink paper. And last but not least I added the Happy Birthday stamped and punched it with the window punch. I colored it with a Zig pure green marker and added Bubble Gum Stickles to the center of the daisy.

This is the inside of the card. I stamped the sentiment and finished if off with the daisy image. I inked the daisy stamp and stamped off on scrap paper so the image wouldn't be dark and then stamped the image.
Stamps: Great Impressions
Paper: Stampin Up and my stash
Embellishments: Stampin Up and Cuttlebug A2 Folder.
Zig Markers and Stickles.

Happiness Grows (another card I won)

Isn't this the cutest. So unique... Love the purple, green and Kraft colors in this card. And the ribbon, awesome. Cute idea. This card was made by Gretchen or Wendy from the There She Goes Stamps. I get these 2 lady's mixed up and normally choose there cards when I win a card.
* I think the adding the (look of a packet of seeds) packet of seeds is extra special. I guess when the season is in, you could really add a packet of seeds to this card. And check out all the paper piercing that was done on this card. That is a lot of work for sure.
Wonderful card. I think I will try to make this card for one of my workshops. I am sure the ladies will enjoy making this card and then giving it to someone special. *
Stamps was from There She Goes. Check out the web site for this company, it has some awesome clear stamps. I own several sets of the stamps and they are sharp and easy to clean stamps.

Some bunny loves you

Love the new Martha Stewart bunny border punch. Look how cute they look on top of this card. And the bottom punch is also Martha Stewart and it came out at Halloween, but I think it looks like melting chocolate. Yummy...
Also love the bunny stamp from Stampin Up. I inked him up with Chocolate Chip Ink. I should have embossed him, but I think he looks okay. Maybe next year I'll try the embossing. Popped him up on a gorgeous lavender cardstock. I added some white dots with a white gel pen to add to the scallop circle.
*
I don't remember where I got the Designer Paper, but I think it goes well with the bunny.
Just had to add the Some Bunny Loves You stamp.

Stamps: Great Impressions and Stampin Up
Cardstock: Lime Green, Chocolate Chip, Lavender and the Designer Paper
Embellishments: Lavender Ribbon and Gold Brads
Punches: Martha Stewart

Happy Easter (kind of late)

I wanted to show you the prettiest Easter Card that I made this year, or at least I think it is the prettiest. Just love the colors and how it turned out.

The card is on a white base with a silver layer and then the main white layer. I stamped the Easter Egg on the white and colored it with Tombow markers. I punched a wide oval from dark lavender cardstock and stamped it with the new Easter stamp from Stampin Up. I added a gorgeous lavender bow and some silver sticker corners. I stamped the Easter Blessings inside the card. And done...

Stamps: Great Impressions and Stampin Up
Cardstock: Dark Lavender, Whisper White and Silver
Embellishments: Lavender ribbon and Silver Sticker Corners
Punch: Wide Oval from Stampin Up.

Another Fabulous Card (I won this card at Christmas time)

I think this is the cutest card, love the colors and the little birds.
I won it so long ago, I am not sure if it was Wendy or Gretchen that created this card.
Yep, it was Christmas time when I won this card.
I want the bird stamp really bad, it has been on my wish list for so long.
I guess I am just going to have to break down and buy it.
There is a lot of other sentiments with the stamps that I wouldn't have to wait until Christmas next year to use it.
This cute bird stamp is from There She Goes Clear Stamps. Check the website out for more awesome clear stamps.

Happy Birthday Birdie

I had to try out the new punch from SU. Not sure of my DP colors though, maybe I could have picked better. I like the bird, it was easy and sort of cute. I did lots of sponging around the bird layer. Maybe this card could be for a man. I added a rhinestone for the eye which made the bird look a lot better. Hope my next bird card with this punch will look better.

Look at the gorgeous card that I won

Isn't this the prettiest card ever.
I won this card on the There She Goes Blog. It was made by Wendy Bond.
I just love this card.
The colors are so perfect. And the ribbon is so cute.
Stop in and check out the There She Goes Blog sometime, there are several new stamp set that I hope to purchase soon.

Birthday Wishes

I thought this would be nice to add candy in for a smaller child for his/her birthday. Love how it turned out. And I really like the color combo. I didn't think the red would go with this beige, but I think it looks okay. I used 2 pieces from the top note die and put a half of an envelope in the middle of dies to hold the candy, and used the ribbon to keep it shut. I thought I took a picture of the side view, but I couldn't find it anywhere on my computer. And those 2 dark things in the middle of the candy holder is the card holder, I didn't notice that they showed that much until now. Next time I will know to make sure they don't show. *

The balloon stamp is one of those Dollar Stamps I purchased from Michael's and I used the circle punch and the scalloped punch to make the tag. The Birthday wishes stamp is from Endless Creations. After I got this done, it needed something else, so I sponged the edges. Changed the looks a lot.

Thanks for stopping by... hope you are enjoying my creations.

Picture Holder

I made this picture holder for a friend, so she could store her snap shots in until she can get her scrapbooking pages done. A fabulous way to store the 4 x 6 pictures in. When family and friends visits, you can get the packet out and there is the pictures all together in one place.
*
I love the red, white and black combo. And just had to use dots. Love them. I added a red ribbon that slides off and on to close the packet. The paper is from my stash and I don't remember where I purchased the dots from.
