With Sympathy

I thought this image would make a wonderful Sympathy card. I like how it turned out. So pretty. Also it is clean and simple card.
The image was stamped with Brillance Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. Added white sheer ribbon and I thought that was all the card needed.

Thank You So Much

Thank You So Much...
I love the colors of this card.
This time of the year is so pretty with all the leaves changing and falling.
I saw this card on someone's blog and I don't remember where I seen it.
So thank you, who ever did this card for your inspiration. I changed a few things on the card so I wouldn't be coping the original version of the card. I love the sponging around the edges, it gives more color and depth to the image. And the vase is punched out and the stamp image is added behind the punched vase.

Thinking of You ... Wildflower

Love the color of this card. And more Wildflowers. Almost done with all the wildflowers that I did for the theme of my last workshop. I think all the cards turned out very nice. This card was stamped with Cranberry Color Box Ink. I bought this stamp a while ago and it wasn't mounted, so I don't have any idea where I got it or the company it came from. If anyone knows, let me know. I have a few ladies wanting to buy one. I thought it was DRS, but I looked at there catalog and it wasn't in there, so must not be them. The rubber stamp is a gray rubber. Anyway, I did a lot of layers on this card and I think that is why it looks so nice. The paper is Cranberry with pink and green layers. Attached the rhinestones on the right side and on the pink border. Last but not least, the layered oval with the sentiment.

Just Because You're Special

Another Wildflower image that I did for my last workshop. I like how this one turned out. I stamped 3 different wildflower stamp images and used 3 different colors of ink on each one of the stamps. Also I stippled a creamy color all around the images. When I got all the stamping done on this card, I added a layer of acetate ontop of the stamped images with the lime green small brads. Now the card is ready for the lime green hummingbird which was pop-up for another layered look. Very colorful card I think. And the sentiment was just perfect for a thinking of you card. Wow! No ribbon, I usually use ribbon on all my cards.

Trick or Treat

Don't you just love the Hedgehogs? I think they are so cute.
Halloween is almost here, so I thought I would get started with a Halloween Card.
I made my own Design Paper with words about Halloween. And the purple cardstock was perfect with the black ink. I almost didn't want to cover it up. I used a Bright Green for my card base. Added Orange and purple for the mats. I stamped the Trick or Treaters on white and colored them with Prisma Pencils. I should have blended them, but they looked alright to me. I popped up the image after adding the black mat to it. Then added the olive green polka dot ribbon to the left side of the card.

Fairy Birthday Card

This is the 2nd and last Fairy card for this month. Thanks goodness there is no more stamps this month with fairies. I like this fairy card better than the other one.

I started this card by cutting the cardstock 4 1/4 x 11. So it opens different than the average card. I put 2 slots in the top of the card base and threaded the silver ribbon down through the front slots and twisted it in the back of the card and then threaded the ribbon ends up through the front. That makes a nice bow, if the ribbon is the right size. This ribbon was more stiffer and needed more messing with it to make it look nice. But I think I got it okay. I used a Nestie label for my first mat, a Scalloped circle in a light blue, the Fairy image (which was stamped with color box chalk Sky Blue ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder) on a circle. And last I punched the scallop eyelet border on the bottom. I cut a large piece of white cardstock for the inside verse which was a birthday sentiment. You can see the inside bottom behind the scallop edge.

Frolicking Fairies Birthday Card

I am not sure I like this card at all.
The color combo is okay, but the fairies, not liking them at all.
*
The card was very simple to do, I stamped the wildflowers yellow and green inks and added the fairies in Versafine Brown. Added the sentiments at the top and added the brown satin ribbon to seperate the image from the sentiments. Of course I needed more of something to the card, so I added a yellow polka dot bow to the brown ribbon.
I think that is all this card needed to look okay for fairies.
And with the birthday sentiment inside, it makes it okay for a little girl's birthday.

A Little Pickup

Here's a very casual get well card. Love the pick up truck and the colors are great together. With a touch of blue satin ribbon and the silver bows made it so that you could mail it for a male or female. I colored it with colored pencils and blended it with OMS. The DP is from Bo Bunny.
