Christmas Card Workshop

These are the Christmas Cards I did at my workshop in July.
It is kind of early to be thinking of Christmas cards, but some of
the ladies were started already. I usually get mine done the first
week of December. There is a lot of new Christmas Stamps out there.
And it won't be long before some of you will get started on them.
I have one more card to add when I get it scanned again, it was not a
good scan the first time, so I will try to get it right this time.
I hope you enjoy looking at the Christmas Cards.
Let me know if you like some more than others. I would really like
to know your opinion.
Thank You for looking at my blog.

Season's Greetings 2

I don't usually do birds, but this Chickadee is really cute.
The pine cone boughis perfect also.
For the inside of the card I added the small pine cone corner.

Snowman Christmas

Isn't this cute?
Snowman's are my favorite.
I like this snowman, and the tree,
what can I say.
Just a little different for sure.

Let It Snow

Snowmen melts our hearts. So cute.
With the blue glitter this is quite a showy
Christmas Card.

Celebrate the Season

Just have to have a blue Christmas Card.
With the swirl and the snowflake circle.
Very simple, and nice.

Have a Beautiful Christmas

Another card with the Red, White and Green Colors.
This is awesome, and very colorful.

Christmas, Christmas, Christmas

Red Snowflakes, wow,
What was I thinking?
Not that bad at all. Love the Skinny Christmas Tree.
Another set from Stampin Up. Highlighting the word
Christmas added a lot to the card.
And the red ribbon was all the card needed for a
perfect look.

Merry Christmas

My idea of a Christmas Card with all the right colors. Red, Green and White. Perfect.

Season's Greetings

This was one of my favorite stamp sets from Stampin Up,
but couldn't come up with anything that looked right.
What do you think of this idea?
I used a green and beige snowflakes and matted them all on copper paper.

Collage Noel Card

A Collage Noel Card.

Looks really nice with the Distressed Antique Linen Ink sponged onto the white paper. Noel is colored in with a Tombow Marker (Red). And the sparkle was added around the letters to add more dept to the card. A Gold and Sheer Ribbon was added to the left of the card.

Thinking of you Strawberry

Another having fun card using the tart and tangy fruit stamp set. A person can always use a thinking of you card.

A Birthday Wish for You 3

This card is the first one that I did. Then I thought about the polka dots and tried them. They are nice, but this card is more elegant. And the lacey punch makes it so delicate.

A Birthday Wish for You 2

This is using my new scalloped edge punch from Stampin Up. It will be in the new catalog coming out August 11, 2008. Can't wait to see all the new things.

A Birthday Wish for You

I used my new lacey edge punch on this card.
I think it turned out really nice
and very easy to do.

Thank You Exclamation

Wow, look what having fun with a stamp set created. The stamp set is Pick a Petal from Stampin Up. I like the Green Ink (Certainly Celery). I will have to try it in blues and pinks. The card fits in a regular letter envelope.

Lazy Flip Flop Days

This one I made for my exchange card for Club Night. Hope someone likes it. The theme is "Summertime". I don't know what happened to my flowers, the orange scanned okay, but the pink sure didn't scan right. They look kind of purple.

Dreamsicle Ice Cream Bar . . .

I made the second one for my grandaughter Bran. She had her 10th Birthday. She loved the card. Also I made one for her sister Jacquie and added Happy Thoughts in the circle for her card. And the first card, I added the orange slice and it changed the whole look of the card.

Hello Note Pad

What do you think of this?
I bought this note pad at
Big Lots/Odd Lots for $1.50.
Wow, look what I did with it.
It even came with the ink pen.
Nice job huh!

This card has vellum paper over the actual card.
That made the card so pretty.
And the ribbon was added to finish the card.

Friends (Birthday)

Not to sure about this card. Any remarks are welcome.

A Cute Dog Lives Here (Birthday)

This card is simply great, it could be for any age,
and would make a great birthday card.
Must be the dog in the very colorful house.
Just lying there staying out of trouble.
I used buttons and the dog bone is actually a brad.
Added dog paw ribbon. So cute.

WOOF (any greeting)

Cute in it's own way.
Could use it for any kind of gretting card.

Best Pet Friends (Happy Birthday)

I like how the cat is walking in this card.
His tail high in the air and perfect footing.
So confident of everything.
And the bird on top of his head is such a cute thing.
The colors are matched very nicely.
Just perfect for a birthday card.

Thanks (for going out of your way)

This is so cute. I thought of doing other designs of this one later on.
Yep, it also reminds me of my kitty flipping out fish from our indoor pond.

A little hello

I just love these new stamps from Great Impressions.
Really cute dogs and cats.
This is the cutest one with the cat in the flower pot.
It reminds me when our kitty was in my flower pot
and really made a mess with all the dirt.
