Snowman Village

This card took so long to color with the Tombow Markers, but it was worth it. The snowmen are cut out and popped up. The background is made with a dotted stamp and white pigment ink. The paper is Navy Blue, and it almost looks black. I added some white sheer ribbon. Fabulous card.

Merry Christmas Stocking

How cute is this stocking? I think it is adorable. I first made me a stocking template from cardstock. Traced and cut out the stocking. I ran it through the cuttlebug with the dots A2 folder. Then I added the top, heel and toe with red checkered designer paper. Added the sewing lines.

For the flower, I used the flower punch from Stampin Up and cupped each petal and also cupped a green center for the flower (which looks like it is yellow, but it is green). The leaves were veined with a piercing tool. And I used the window punch to put my Merry Christmas on. Just glued it under the flower a little bit.

Welcome Christmas Penguin

I just adore Penguins in Christmas Stamps. They are so cute. This one is adorable with the candy cane. I used the prisma colored pencils. It is hard for me to color black with the Tombow Markers. So the pencils do a better job with the black color. I did the rest of the coloring with the Tombow Markers. The border punch is so pretty, I love it and it adds so much to this card. I added a pom pom at the end of his hat. The stamp has a bell at the end of the hat, and it is not a pretty bell, so I covered it up with a pom pom. Yes, I needed that big of a pom pom because the bell is that big on the stamp.

Another Christmas Card

Hard to believe that Christmas is coming in 5 months. So we all need to get on with making our Christmas Card Selection. Sometimes it is hard to pick a favorite Card in July when the new Christmas Stamps aren't out on the market yet. So using last years and even a couple years ago stamps here are some of my ideas for this year, or should I say until the new stamps come out.

This stamp is a favorite from last year, there is so much you can do with this stamp. I like this style. It is colorful and Christmasy. I stamped the words in Versafine black ink and colored them with a Tombow Markers. I added the silver sticker strips and dots. Then the red polka dot ribbon. I used a deckle scissors to cut along the white strip. I was not wanting the straight solid white rectangle, so I made the deckle edge.

Bearing Gift Mouse

Isn't this a cute mouse. And giving the gift to the little bird. Too cute.
I created my own background paper with the stamp of snowflakes and swirls on the blue and red paper. Colored with tombow markers and watercolor pencils. Really a cute Christmas Card.

Lovely as a Tree

I like how this card worked out. I inked the stamp and stamped off one time to make the cluster of trees lighter than the large tree on the left. I found an ink pad VersaFine in green at my little scrapbook store. That is an awesome green color for Christmas. I used the stardust gel pen to make the cluster of trees shinny. Looks awesome in front of me and I hope it looks just as good when I scan it. Then I added the verse a very merry Christmas to you in red ink. Over all the cards I have done, I think this one is the prettiest one to me. Clean and simple. And very easy to do.

Christmas in July

Christmas in July sounded so awesome for a Workshop, but it sure wasn't easy creating all the Christmas Cards that I needed. It was so hard to think of Christmas Cards when the weather was so hot. Even seeing all the snowman and Christmas Tree on my cards, that didn't help me keep cool at all. It is in the 80's and 90's outside. That is too hot for me. I know, I know when it is snowing outside we all wish for nicer weather.
