Sorry to have been away so long....

I have several Christmas Cards to post and hope I will have time next week to add them. I guess with the holidays here, it is hard to find the time to do a lot of things. But I hope to get back into posting more often. Maybe that should be my New Years Resolution. Please stop back again. Thank You.

Happy Birthday Blueberries

This is one of my favorite stamps from Flourishes. The blue berries are gorgeous. I colored them with watercolor pencils and then blended with a blender pen. And the designer paper is from my stash. I liked the hint of blue and pink flowers along with the wheat or oats, which ever one it might be in the background. The label is from a Nestibilities die. I added the blue polka dotted ribbon to add to the color of the card.

Thanks for stopping by. All your comments are appreciated.

Finally time to post...

I wanted to get this card posted last week, but didn't get to it. This card I made for a friend and her favorite color was pink, so here is what I came up with. Can you see this card in purples or even blues. Awesome I would think. I might have to try it sometime.

Anyway, all that is stamped is the Happy Birthday. I punched out the 2 flowers in vellum and then added a small pink flower in the center, then I added a yellow small brad in the center to keep all the flowers together.
The other white flowers is embroidered and glued dotted to form my border.
I don't even remember the company of the design paper, I have had it for ever.
Thank you for visiting my blog.

Creepy Spider

Need to post this Creepy Spider Card on here.
Didn't want Halloween to go away with out this card.
I love how the spider web turned out by inking the spider web folder with black ink and then add the paper and run it through the Cuttlebug.
Then the spider, I punched it out with a EK Success Punch, put some creases in the legs or bend them a little bit.
I thought the spider needed something to make it shine, so I added Stickles glitter all over it. It really does shine a lot.
All that is left was to add the tag and it is made with SU Punches and stamp set also.
I found some spider web ribbon in my stash.
Perfect Halloween Card.
Hope you like it.

Creepy Crawly, oh my golly

I seen this Halloween Tree and thought I need to make a card using it. This is what I came up with. I think it is rather cute with the spiders falling from the branches.
I used black for my base and added the purple layer. I just bought the spider web MS border punch, loved that. Now I needed green and orange and it would be a Halloween card with all the colors. I loved the creepy spider from SU and it looks great on the orange. So the tree had to be layered with green.
This is my perfect Halloween colors.

Paper: My stash

Fall Leaves

Love this card, I did it for my last card workshop. I seen one like it on the Gina K blog. So I thought I would try it. I had to find the right paper that would accept the bleach and turn the right color of the leaves and this paper worked so nicely. I embossed the leaves with Versa Mark, used black embossing powder and heat set it. Now I added regular household bleach with a paint brush just inside the black embossing lines. This card is so pretty in person.

Stamps: Hero Arts
Paper: Beige from my stash
Other: A-2 embossing folder.

Yummies

Take a look at the cookies on a stick.
My sister made these cookies for my card party a couple weeks ago.
They were so good.
I helped decorate the cookies by adding the sprinkles and adding the gorgeous black and orange ribbon to some of the sticks.
*Can you imagine cookies looking like Candy Corn...
Well, these were really good. And Oh how cute.

I am so thankful to have a sister that will do this for me and my parties.
She is awesome.
Thank You Jan.

Halloween Candy Holder

Isn't this the cutest?
And yummy Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. One of my favorites.
This design paper is awesome, it is from a new company called Echo Park Paper Company and they just opened in April of this year. There is so many new designs, can't wait to try them. This is the Halloween selection.
I punched the black scallop oval and the purple circle using SU punches. Then, I added the bat. The bat is from MS. I closed the candy holder with a piece of Velcro. The only thing left to do was add purple ribbon for a handle.
If you need the instructions, please contact me and I would be glad to give them to you.

Thanks for stopping by...

Caramel Apple

Doesn't this look good enough to eat?
Made me think of all the carnivals and fairs, that is what I get first, then the french fries.
Oh gosh, you have to have the french fries at the fairs.
I couldn't figure out how to tear up paper to make it look like nuts.
Any way, the card was stamped on caramel cardstock with black ink. I cut the apple out and added crystal lacquer. Then I found the cutest little sticks and they worked out perfect for this apple. I tied some purple netting around the stick. I made my candy corn using a circle of all 3 colors and glued them and then I cut the circle like a pie and rounded the corners of each piece of candy corn. I stamped the spider web on the purple background, which made it look really like halloween paper. Next I layered the purple on black and added all my layers to an orange base card. Only thing left to do is the circles and I stamped Trick or Treat on the middle one. Love this card. It took a little bit time, but worth it when it was done. What do you think?

*Stamps: Great Impression, DRS and SeeD's
Paper: My stash
Embellishes: Netting and Wooded Sticks

Ship Happens

Love the little penguins on this card.
I haven't inked this stamp set yet and I seen it laying in my stash
and thought how cute this could be.
So here is what I came up with.
I colored it with Tombow markers
and paper pieced the cup and saucer.
Using the Nestie scallop and plain circles was perfect for the layers I wanted to use.

This is the inside of the card.
So cute with the sentiment
(you don't know how strong you are
until you've been in a little hot water.)
Isn't that the truth a lot of times.
Stamps: Not sure, but I think Cat's Meow
Paper: My Minds Eye and my stash
Punch: Modern Label SU , Martha Stewart border and Nesties
Embellishes: Brads
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog. Come back again soon for some new Halloween Cards that I have been working on.

Happy Birthday To You

I wanted to try a clean and simple card. I don't normally make clean and simple cards, but wanted to try anyway. I think it turned out okay, not the greatest, but it will work for me.
With the fall colors it was perfect for the flowers.
I stamped the flowers on orange card stock and colored in the centers with a Tombow Marker. After rounding the corners, I added the brads. Then I added a more orangy color for my greeting. I know the stamp is from SU, but can't remember the set it come from. The flower stamp is from Stampendous I think. A very clean and simple card. Love those cards that doesn't take hours to complete.

Thank You Friends

Thank You friend...
Isn't this the cutest card with all the animals lending helping hand.
I choose to use up the green paper that I had laying around.
And the DP went with it perfect.
I added a touch of mustard card stock because it was close to the DP color.
Colored with water color pencils and blended with water. I tried the Tombow markers and they were to bold for what I was looking for.
Then I added the circles and the scallop circle to make my sentiment tag.
I used black stickles to make the dots around the scallop circle, and added the gold brad in the middle of the You words.
I used Old Olive Ink for the sentiment.

Especially for you

This is another card from my August Workshop. I thought I would use a pink color for the Anniversary Card. And the DP with the hearts. Perfect for the theme Anniversary.
I stamped and colored the cluster of flowers (which is the stamp of the month for August) with Tombow Markers. And them I added a dot of Yellow Stickles to the center of the flowers.
And the inside of the card has a half fold showing some of the inside when the card is shut. Great design for the butterflies and dragons. It adds to the whole card whether it is shut or open. I added the bow so it looked like it was around the flower stem.

Merry Christmas Lineup Snowmans

Don't you just love Snowman's? These snowmans are really colorful and cute. Not your usual Christmas Colors, but I think the more colorful, the more cheery it seems. Love the big Sheer Bow with the snowflake and rhinestone. Makes the card sparkle. I used the word window punch to put my sentiment on and glued it on the DP. With the Snowmans popped up, I thought the words might look better down on the DP.

Stamps: Stampin Up
Paper: My stash and DP from the Christmas Stacker 2009
Embellishments: Rhinestones, MS Snowflake punch and White Sheer Ribbon
Markers: Tombow's
*
Thank You for checking out my Christmas Cards.
Have a great evening...

Tis the Season...

Everyone is making all these punch art animals, so I seen the Cardinal on someone's blog and I thought I would try it. I think it is kind of cute, but nothing like the Two Step bird. My cardinal is a little bit puggy, but cute in his own way. Love the colors of the card and really Christmasy with the snowflake embossed in the background.

Inside of Card
Stamps: Not sure of where they come from.
Paper: From my stash.
Embellishments: Gold Thread, CB A2 folder, Punches and Nesties and Tombow Markers.

Thank You for stopping at my blog. I did these Christmas Cards in July for my Workshop and I wanted to get them on here before Christmas. I hope I don't over load you with to much Christmas Cards.

Fall is on it's way

Thought I would try my luck at a fall card and hope the weather turns a little cooler also.
This is an older stamp from Great Impressions. I made a card back in 2008 and thought I would ink it up again. This is so pretty with the fall colors. Just love it. I tried another card with putting brown flower soft in the centers of the flowers, but I was doing this card for one of my workshops and they don't do well with the flower soft, so I just colored in the centers with a Tombow marker. I think it turned out okay with the marker. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and I stamped it on ivory paper and punched out a little green leaf to add color to the tag.
The Design Paper is from Bo Bunny and it was also back in 2008 when I bought it. Amazing that I still had some left.
Inside of the card.

Ice cream anyone?

With the weather we have been having, the ice cream cone sure looks good.
I tried to make the colors look so yummy.
(Chocolate, vanilla and strawberry).
I just love this stamp set. Each scoop is cut out separately and was the chocolate one ever hard to see to cut out. The other ones were really easy to cut out. But all in all, it was very easy to glue together. I popped it up so it would stand off the white paper.
Cute huh?

Stamps: There She Goes
Paper: Scrappy Cat Design Paper with Watermelon, Chocolate Chip, Vanilla and Sage Green

It's All About The Journey

Isn't this the cutest bike. Very old looking for sure.
It looks awesome with the peach color.
I added the pink brads in the center of each wheel
the flowers also matches the color, too.
The rick rack is the new Die-Namics die from My Favorite Things.
Just love them.
So easy to make with the cuttlebug.
I added diamond rhinestones on each corner
to add some more bling.
And last I added the peach ribbon over top of the rick rack.

Stamps: Great Impressions
Paper: Paper Pizazz and my Stash
Embellishments: Rhinestones, Brads and Ribbon
Scallop Rectangle and Rectangle Nesties
And the new dies from My Favorite Things called Die-Namics

Thank You for checking out my blog. Come back soon, I hope to have more added later tonight and this weekend.

Just me Thinking of You

Isn't this a colorful peacock and with all the glitter I added to the tail, it sure is shiny.
I think it might make someone happy getting it in the mail.

Stamp: Great Impressions
Ink: Memento Black
Paper: My stash
Colored with Tombow Markers...
and lots of glitter!

Thinking of You

Thinking of you Bookmarker

I love the colors of this card. And it has a bookmarker inside that you could keep the bookmarker when you no longer need the card. I used gel markers to get the raised look on the flowers. The flower stamp is from Great Impressions and the sentiments are from various stamp companies.

Inside of the card is the removable bookmarker.

Thank You for stopping by my blog. I know it has been a while since I posted, but I hope to get back into it and post regular.

George, the monkey

Here is George,
George of the Jungle.
Oh, I just had to make this an easle card so George could stand up and be noticed. I think he is adorable and I would love to see him done with copic markers. I used pencils as I don't know how to do copic markers yet. The DP is from my stash, and I love all the orange and browns. Perfect for the monkey. I used an EK Success border punch for the top border. The card is brown even though it looks black. I added the orange and brown oval tag for the sentiment and that is what helps George stand up so perfectly.
Thanks for stoppin by and have a good day...

I've missed you

Isn't this elephant the cutest ever? Just love it, so cute. This is one of the new stamps from Great Impressions and the jungle plants behind the elelphant is the stamp of the month. I put pop dots on the elephant up so it would be in front of the plants. And the butterfly is also pop dotted also. I added the Shamrock Green Flower Soft on the large leaves of the jungle plants. This really looks cute in person. Added some cute polka doted ribbon on the tag and done. The green paper is the card, and that is where it opens. The blue and pink are glued down together, so it is a 3 1/2' card. but the whole card measures 4'' square.

Happy Father's Day

*
Here is the card that was done at my workshop for Father's Day. I added a lot of glitter on the dragonfly. And gel dots for the corners to add bling. Of course I didn't need a lot of bling for a father, but a little bit was okay. I pierced the corners of the dragonfly square and then added the gel dot. I colored the gel dot myself with Acohol Ink so I could get the right color of blue. Love the DP, it is from Karen Foster. The fathers day stamp is from Great Impressions.

*
This is my card that I wanted to try out. I remembered seeing something like this on someone's blog. And of course, I can never find the card again. So thanks for the inspiration if this is like your card. I like the black and white with a touch of red. Love those circles, too. I think my ribbon needed to be a little bit wider, but that was all I could find. I even had someone tie the ribbon like you would tie a regular tie. I sure didn't know how it was done.

Thank you for stopping at my blog.
And have a great Tuesday....

Happy 4th of July

Inside of Card
Happy 4th to everyone.
I made this cute card with the cutest bee.
I added white stripes to the red layer to make it look like a flag. I adore the bee, and with the firecracker in his hand, how cute is that. And the Liberty crown on his head.
Cute Cute Cute...
I stamped the blue flower with the scallop circle punch to make my sentiment. Then stamping Happy 4th and layering it to red and blue paper. The whole thing is then popped up on the main card.
The Bee is from Stampendous and the 4th stamp is from Rubber Cottage.

Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July with families and lots of fun things going on.

Happy Birthday

Thought I would show you a card I made in my last workshop.
The flowers are stamped from Vellum and rolled a little bit on the ends to give them a little bit of shape. I punched a little flower from another punch and centered a light green brad through all the flowers to keep them together. The flower ribbon is adorable and it comes from a store here in Ohio that has so much ribbon in it, it is hard not to want every roll of ribbon they sell. And everyone say if you can count your rolls of ribbon, you don't have enough, well I can't count how many rolls of ribbon I have. And crazy me went there the other day and bought 8 more rolls of ribbon. My designer paper is from a stacker. And of course the stamp is from Stampin Up. There is also a paper store that sells paper by the pound. I have entirely to much paper, too. It is awesome paper. Some of the paper is 110#, but I try to just buy the 80# weight. And so many colors, of course I need all the colors.
Thanks for checking out my blog and come back soon for more cards I hope to get on here soon.

Hang In There

Isn't this a cute kitty? And why not have birds with a kitty.
The sentiment inside the card is perfect for the little kitty hanging on to the tree branch.
Love the color combo so, so cheery.
These stamps are from Great Impressions.
Thank You for stopping by and your comments are very much appreciated.
Have a great day

Special Friend

A very pretty card. I wanted to make a special card for a friend, and I thought this one was perfect, simple, elegant and special.
This card was made from the Nestabilities Cross Die Cuts.
I layered them and sponged the beige color on the inside of the die cut.
Added some pearls and a bow. Done.....

Birthday Tulips

Thought I better get some of my cards on the blog before you all think I have quit blogging. I just keep running out of time. My life is so busy right now I don't have time to think. Anyway, here is a fabulous card I did using the Two Step Bird Punch. I love this punch. And I think it makes the most gorgeous tulips.

* this is the inside of the card

*
I punched all the wings from the bird punch and sponged the edges and glued them to form the tulip and then adhered the tulips to the branch. Then I arrange them on the scallop square, which was run through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dot Folder. The last thing to do is pop up the label tag with the sentiment.
Hope you like this card and try it. It is simple and really cute.

Stamps: Stampendous (I think, they are really old ones)
Paper: My Minds Eye and my stash
Punches: Two Step Bird, Label Tab, 1-1/4th Circle and the Nestie Scallop Square

Happy Birthday Cake

Love this DP, it is fabulous for this birthday card. I thought at first the black wasn't bright enough for a Birthday Card, but I think it looks okay. At the bottom of the DP there was 3 presents, so I cut one out and glued it to the inside of the card. Made the inside of the card look cute. Anyway, the words are from Clear Stamps. Not sure where I got the cake from. But it worked perfect in the center of my scallop circle. I colored the cake with the sparkle markers and it was so glittery and cute.

Thank You

Sorry, I didn't think I had this on my blog, but I scrolled down and there it was. I guess that happens when you wait to long to post and forget what already is on here.
It has been one crazy couple of weeks.
To much going on at one time.
Here is a card that I have been working on.
Hope you like it.

Another reason for getting the Two Step Bird Punch from Stampin Up.
Isn't this the cutest tulip.
Great card, really quick and simple.
I stamped the Thank You Greeting and sponged it around the edges.
Also I sponged around the tulip rectangle also.
I can't believe no brads and ribbon and still looks great.

Wishing you get well wishes

This is a really cute card for someone who might not be having a good day. It is cheery, colorful and should put a smile on their face.
This was the quickest card that I have made in a long time. It when together really easy and fast. Add the layers, punch the corner and glue dot a penny in the slot and I added ribbon and done.
Inside the card:
This shouldn't look gray, it is actually white inside the base card.
My camera must have had a bad day.

Stamps: Great Impressions
Paper: My Stash (you wouldn't believe my paper stash right now if you seen it, it is huge)
Ink: Memento Black
Embellishments: A corner Punch for the penny and ribbon with embroidery thread to tie the ribbon ends together.

Thank You

Another adorable creation made from the Two Step Bird Punch from Stampin Up. I think this bird wing made a cute tulip. I sponged the tulip with Pixie Pink Ink and glued the petals (wings) to form a tulip. And the branch of the Two Step Bird Punch made the stem for the tulip. I used a mint green for my base card, then I added the DP Map, a piece of scrap darker green for the stem and layered the mint green with pixie paper and of course Whisper White. I can't believe I didn't add ribbon or a brad somewhere on this card.

Stamps: Endless Creations
Paper: My stash
Ink: Memento Black and Pixie Pink
Punches: Two Step Bird Punch and Circle Punches from Stampin Up
