Celebrate and It's all about the journey

Here is a card using the Sale-a-bration Free Stamp set.
I think of the Phone booth as being from England. And always the color red. I colored an image red and didn't like it very much, so I just used red paper. Worked fine for me.
I used the Chevron Embossing folder for my background so I could have some texture on the red paper.
I think the black brads were cute in the corner and they added a lot to the card.
Then for my sentiment, I made the Celebrate into a flag banner.

Here is my second card using the Sale-a-bration Stamp Set. Both of these stamps are in the same set. The third stamp is a Ferris Wheel and very old fashioned.
Of course the Sale-a-bration program is over now.
But glad I got my set, I have used them on several cards.
I used the Argyle Embossing folder for the background on this card. Added a designer paper strip in the middle along with 2 large brads on both sides.
Love the It's all about the journey. This stamp is from Great Impressions, I just thought it went perfect with the bicycle.

Thank You for stopping in at my blog.
I would love to hear your comments, they would mean so much to me.

Sometimes it's just one thing on top of another

Love this stamp, it is so cute with the little boy putting his pants on top of his head, and his shirt on his legs. Super cute.

I'm not sure where it came from, maybe Cat's Pajamas or a Bella stamp, it is a cling stamp. That is the only problem with the cling stamps, if I don't write down where I it got them, later on I don't remember.
Great sentiment from Great Impressions.
I colored the image with water color pencils and markers.
I used the Spellbingers scallop circle and classic circle for the image. I punched a border to put behind the design paper.

thanks for checking out my blog...

Happy Anniversary

Back again with a gorgeous card for you.

Well, I think it is gorgeous anyway.
Just love the color and the sponging.
I punched out the heart on the pink paper,
then stamped vines on a piece of scrap paper.
I glued the vines behind the open heart.
Added some rhinestones, ribbon rose and some twine
and perfect for anyone.
Border trim is punched with the lacy Stampin Up border punch.
Then sponge it with pink ink.
Makes a pretty border.

What's the Buzzz?

I have a quick post for you today.
Love the beehive...
The card base is a different size than usual, I wanted to make it a square, but the scallop die is just a little bit bigger on the length than the width. But I think it is cute just the way it is.
The sentiment is really cute and the bees are adorable.
I used a new die from Memory Box. It is the black circle behind the image. It is called "Whimzy Circle". Memory Box has a lot of gorgeous dies. I can't wait to get my hands on some more of them. I sell the dies if you are interested in them. You can go to Memory Box's web page and check them out. ( memoryboxco.com ).
Well, that is it for today, hope to get some more cards on here soon.
Thanks for visiting my blog and come back again soon.

Here's the dirt

How about a PINK pig?

Not one of my favorite animals. But this pink pig is a cutie. And the sentiment is totally awesome with the pig.
"Here's the dirt."
And the inside sentiment, is
"A little birdie told me it was your birthday."
So cute.

So perfect that Great Impression had so many cute stamps this month. Let's hope next month has some great stamps too. If you're interested in purchasing some of these stamps from Great Impressions, let me know. I would be more than happy to help you out. Just email me and let me know.

Miss You

Here is another great card from the card party I had last weekend.

Love the mail boxes and the little snail, he is a cutie.

I colored them with pencils and blended them with Gamsol. They were so easy to color and I thought they colored great. I used a darker color around the mailboxes to match for a shadowed look.

I used a EK Success border punch to make the holes in the border.

Adding the "Miss You" for the sentiment. Goes well with the mailboxes.

Design paper is from my stash and the stamps are from Great Impressions.

Thanks for checking out my blog and come back again soon.

Give me the Simple Life

Another card from my card party last weekend.
I had an awesome party, lots of fun and a most creative day for everyone.
I want to Thank You to all of you who came and made the cards.

I made this card as an easel card, I really think this style is so nice.
It stays up right where ever you display it.
The milk crate looks very old and the bottles, well they sure match the crate. And look at the super cute label on the crate.
I colored the image with prisma pencils. Love the browns and orange flowers. It could be used as a Fall card with these colors. I used the square bigz die from Sissix. Along with some drywall tape for the layer behind the square. I then pierced the corners with holes.
I used the label punch from EK Success for my sentiment layer. Popped it up to hold the front of the card up so it would stand up.

Stop back in tomorrow for another great card using stamps from Great Impressions.

Pocket full of wishes

Great, this is the second day for posting, hope I can continue and post everyday.

I made this card thinking of all the family that I need to send a card to and I thought it would work for anyone.
The flowers are so bright and cheery to fit any kind of event.
This one is for a birthday.

I colored the pocket and flowers with prisma pencils and blended with Gamsol. I stamped an extra pocket and used a foam pop dot to make it off the original pocket. Love the layering. The lacy bottom border is from a Martha Stewart punch. The lacy layer is really a teal color and the camera really made it look a green.

Stamps are from Great Impressions.

Thanks for stopping by.

The card has a red base and it is from Spellbinder.

Happy Birthday (Flowered Heart)

Just wanting to post a card so that I could let you know that I am still trying to get some cards on my blog.
Some how I am having a hard time adding the cards that I make. This time it is TAXES and card parties. Just to much things going on at one time. Sorry that it is taking me forever to get my cards on here when I make them.
This Birthday Heart card I made a while ago. I thought it was so pretty with all the colors in the heart. I added Happy Birthday that is a gold sticker.
I like making the easel cards, I think they are so pretty.

The watermelon colored ribbon and flowers makes the card very colorful.

Clam Chowder Day

For my Club Card for the month of August,
I was given this stamped apron on sea shells design paper.
Now to make the card using the apron. It was a little difficult for me. But this is what I came up with.
I used the cooking background stamp from Great Impressions for the background and on slate blue paper. I found the word Recipe on another stamp from Great Impressions, so that worked for the sentiment. Oh so clever me, thought with all the sea shells on the paper, I needed a clam chowder recipe to put in the pouch of the apron. I found a recipe, copied it and stuck in the opening. Added the bakers twine for the strings and the bow. What do you think?

Inside of the card
I cut out the shells from the remaining designer paper and pop dotted them on the black band.
The inside sentiment stamp is from Great Impressions.

Thank you for visiting my blog and come back soon...

Thanks

This is the most gorgeous tree I have seen in a long time.

I liked the hearts on the tree.

I don't remember the company that made this paper, I bought it from Great Impressions.

The little red hearts in the paper goes perfect with the tree stamp.

I added some sheer white ribbon and that made the card so pretty.

This is the inside of the card. Really simple. Hope you enjoyed checking out my card. Come back again. Thank You.

Happy Birthday Heart

I love Easel Cards, they stand up and look great anywhere they are placed. This one I made at my workshop in February with A Valentine's Day Theme, I thought a heart would be great, but didn't want it to be a Valentine's Card. So it ended up being a Birthday Card and I think it turned out great.

This is a side view so you can see more of how it stands up. There is another small sentiment above the Oval Happy Birthday and you can see it when you open the card up before you let it stand by it's self. Cute huh?

I used Bo Bunny paper with lots of embellishments.
Watermelon colored ribbon and flowers, black gel dots for the centers of the flowers. I tried a yellow gel dot in the center, but they didn't show up nice, so I used black. The Happy Birthday is a Gold Sticker and it fit perfect on the oval. Color with Tombow and Zig Markers.

Thanks for visiting my blog and come back soon. I have an other workshop this weekend and hope to get those cards on my blog shortly.

Just wanted to say hi !

Love the colors of this card. So bright and cheery.
Cute little angel and a beautiful basket of flowers.
On this card, the pink opens to reveal the sentiment.
The red background is only a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2, so it doesn't fold or open at all.
I stamped the ribbon with versa mark and used white embossing powder and heat set it.
Love how it turned out, so cute.
Colored with Tombow markers.
I used the Fiskar's border punch on the top and bottom of the red card stock
and layered it with the stamped angel image on white.
Stamps: Great Impressions
Ink: memento black and versa mark
Papers: red and pink from my stash
*Thanks for stopping by and hope you come back again.

Christmas Spirit

Soon I will be done with all the Christmas Cards that I made a while ago. Most of them are so pretty, I really wanted to post them. Or they would be lost for ever in my computer somewhere until next year.
I just love the whimsical trees in this card. And really like the red and blue.
Stamps are Great Impressions. Colored with tombow markers and used a gold pen for the trimmings on the tree.

Thank You for stopping by and visiting my blog.
Have a great week...

Snowman Globe

This little snowman is so darn cute, he's actually is behind acetate that is on the snow globe. The globe base is on red paper and white embossed snowflakes, and cut out and glued on to the globe.

I punched the layered tag, added the sentiment and used gold cord to attach it to the gorgeous snowflake background design paper. Last, I attached all this to Sky Blue Cardstock.
