Happy Birthday

*

A very simple but elegant birthday card.

I can't remember who the Design Paper is from, and I used it a long time ago, so the company wasn't on the piece I used. Love it.

This is a stamp that I have had for years and just found it and wanted make a special card for a friend. I think the cake stamp is from Morning Star. It would make a fantastic Wedding Card, it just looks like a wedding cake to me. I know the Happy Birthday stamps is from De Nami. I added some gold line stickers to the DP to add a elegant touch to the card.

A perfect card using Pinks and Browns. They are so pretty together.

My Friend

Love this DP, it has the prettiest butterflies on it. As soon as I seen it, I had to buy some and make a card with it. This is one of the prettiest stamps from There She Goes, called What's Up Buttercup? Don't you think so? I used a very soft green card stock and matched it up with Sage. Love those two colors together. I really wanted to use prisma pencils, because they blend so well, to color the buttercup image. I love how it turned out. Couldn't let this card go with out ribbon, I added a yellow polka dot bow on it. * *

Happy Birthday Heart

I love Easel Cards, they stand up and look great anywhere they are placed. This one I made at my workshop in February with A Valentine's Day Theme, I thought a heart would be great, but didn't want it to be a Valentine's Card. So it ended up being a Birthday Card and I think it turned out great.

This is a side view so you can see more of how it stands up. There is another small sentiment above the Oval Happy Birthday and you can see it when you open the card up before you let it stand by it's self. Cute huh?

I used Bo Bunny paper with lots of embellishments.
Watermelon colored ribbon and flowers, black gel dots for the centers of the flowers. I tried a yellow gel dot in the center, but they didn't show up nice, so I used black. The Happy Birthday is a Gold Sticker and it fit perfect on the oval. Color with Tombow and Zig Markers.

Thanks for visiting my blog and come back soon. I have an other workshop this weekend and hope to get those cards on my blog shortly.

Just wanted to say hi !

Love the colors of this card. So bright and cheery.
Cute little angel and a beautiful basket of flowers.
On this card, the pink opens to reveal the sentiment.
The red background is only a 4 1/4 by 5 1/2, so it doesn't fold or open at all.
I stamped the ribbon with versa mark and used white embossing powder and heat set it.
Love how it turned out, so cute.
Colored with Tombow markers.
I used the Fiskar's border punch on the top and bottom of the red card stock
and layered it with the stamped angel image on white.
Stamps: Great Impressions
Ink: memento black and versa mark
Papers: red and pink from my stash

Because I Care

Challenge for the R & A Club.

Make a card with a pink ribbon somewhere on your card. Well, needless to say, a rubber stamp of a ribbon was available and pink ink also. So I stamped me 3 ribbons on a piece of paper. I brought them home and laid them somewhere and then, couldn't find them. So I needed to get the card done and couldn't find the papers, so I thought, I can just cross a piece of ribbon and make my own pink ribbon.

This is what I came up with. I really impressed myself with this card. I think it is gorgeous. I used the Label 14 or 18 nesties, don't remember which one it really is , but I liked it so much and I knew it would make a great center for my card. I made some ribbon flowers and put crystal effects to make them stiff and not fall apart. Glue dotted them in place. Added the Because I care stamp from Stampin' Up. Almost forgot, the background is from the Dotted Swiss Cuttlebug folder. And of course my homemade pink ribbon. Gorgeous don't you think.

Happy Day

I seen a card like this on Mary Fish's blog. I thought it was so cute. I had to try to make one of my own. I also did a Saint Patrick's Day card just like this, only I added green shamrocks where the orange heart is. It turned out really cute also. I hope to post it sometime this week.
Any way, I cut out squares of 1 1/4 inches in green and white and glued them opposite of each other on the 3 3/4 x 5 inch black card stock. The base of the card is white. The square only came down so far and I added the scallop border of white below the squares. Next I punched the scallop circle in black and layered it with the 1 3/8 inch circle punch in green. I stamped the flowers on white and punched it out with the 1 1/4 inch circle punch. When I popped it up on the border, looked awesome. And the orange ribbon finished the card.
The inside has the verse and I glued orange hearts by the verse.
I bought the flower stamp at The Stamp Pad and I never even looked who made the stamp. Isn't that awful. I just liked the daisies, so I got it. I just had to add sponging above the flowers to make it look like the sky or clouds.
Hope you liked my card today.
Stop back again soon...

My Little Loveosaurus

Isn't this the cutest Dino?
So cute,
I made this an easel card so it would stand up by itself.
Love the orange and green.
I made this for my grandson Noah for his birthday.
Noah turned 8 years old. He is such a cutie also. I think this card was okay for an 8 year old.
He just loved the card.
I cut my ovals with the Oval and Scallop Oval Nestie.
I added the Orange Scallop Oval for my layer.
I sponged the edges of the sentiments with Pure Orange Colorbox Ink.
The only thing left was to add ribbon and a button.

So many ways to use these flowers...

This lovely flower is very elegant with the pearl brad in the center. And the DP, love it. I don't remember where it was from. But I sure think it is pretty with the white flower. The flower is from the large and regular scallop punches from Stampin Up. I cut in to the center of each petal. Just a little to give you the petals. Curled the petals with the bone folder. And the leaf, I ran it through the crimper. Pretty cute huh?

*
This flower is done the same as the first one, but changed the DP, put a button in the center and added a different leaf. I just made it more pointed at the end. Love the brown ribbon on this card.

*
Once again, just a different leaf and DP. This DP is shimmery and really adds to the card.

Wow, 2 posts in one day. I sure am doing better, lets hope it keeps up. I do have more cards to show you. Wish me luck with getting them posted.

Another great card using the Because I Care

I just love all the different ways you can use this stamp. So many combinations and color also. This card is on the same sketch as the last one, but look how different it can be done, just coloring, border punch and design paper. I think this is my favorite stamp in a long time.
