Not sure if I like this card or not, it isn't my style of stamp. But thought I would make a card with the stamp. I think the flowers above the frame is awesome. I added a pink rhinestone inside of a metal flower that was glue dotted to the silk picot ribbon. Colored with Tombow Markers. One of these days I hope to use the copic markers. I have a few of them, I pick up one here and there. I guess they are on my most wanted list.

You make my life bright
Another cute card from Great Impressions stamps. I just think the lavender is so gorgeous on this card. So off setting it with light purple, black and white. The background is the stamp of the month for Great Impressions. It is called Damask and so elegant looking, and it goes with a lot of the other stamps that will be used for the Month. I stamped the chandelier on white paper and added rhinestones to some of the chandelier, then layered it on black scallop paper. Hope you think it is gorgeous as I do.

Happy Birdie to you
Inside
How gorgeous is this card? I seen this card on Silke's blog and loved it. So I thought I would try it. I changed a few things on my card. I love the Red, Black and White look. It makes it clean and simple and jet very elegant looking. I added a red gingham bow and some Heart Rhinestones. I colored it with a Red Tombow Marker. How cool is that to use only one marker? Awesome. Also I use the score pal to make the lines in the red cardstock and the new Stampin Up border punch along the side of the red cardstock. Don't know why the inside of the card is so gray, it is just as white as the front of the card. I don't remember the company that made the bird and cage, but I can find the stamps and look it up for you if you are interested. Just let me know.

Just the two of us
I made this card an Anniversary Card. I think the swans are gorgeous. I stamped them with Warm Wine Color Box Ink and embossed them with clear embossing with glitter in it. The image came out really nice. Then cut out the image and pop-dotted it on the card. I added a half pearl on the heart at the end of the sentiment. Really I covered up a heart that was there. The background on the swans is the Damask Design from Great Impressions and the swirl border is on both sides of the card. Just the lighter color in the middle of the card opens. Really a different style of card for me.
If you are interested in any Great Impressions Stamps just send me an email, I will be glad to let you know about them.
Little Girl Picking Flowers
Inside of the card...
The little girl is just adorable. She was easy to color, but the flowers were terrible to figure out where they were and color them. But the time was worth it. Really a gorgeous card. Perfect for an adorable little girl's birthday.
Little Girl stamp is from Great Impression and the Birthday ones are from various companies. The Hearts are punched from the Trio of Hearts from Stampin Up.

Snow Bunny
Here is another of my favorite cards this month.
I saw this snow bunny on Cindy's blog and I wanted to case it. Thanks Cindy for the inspiration. I loved the colors she used. He is a cutie. I used Red Cardstock for my base color, and the Snowflake Cuttlebug folder on a black mat. Next I punched out the red strip with a Martha Stewart border punch. Then added the Happy Birthday greetings under the bunny and red snowflakes. There is 3 different snowflakes there with a clear gel dot on top. I think ribbon was all I needed to finish the card. The bunny is stamped, colored, cut out and pop-dotted on the red strip. Totally cute.
Soul Mates
I just love it.
Maybe it's the polka dot paper that sets it off,
I don't know, but there is something about it for sure.
Colored with Tombow markers, one of these days I will have some copics. I used 3 different circle punches on this card. The paper is burgandy and black dots on white paper, it is from a newer company to me, I will find the name later. Of course the ribbon is burgandy also. My card base is white. I sure have a big black frame around the picture. I think it needed more cropping done on it. Sorry. My inside had the sentiment "me and you always and forever" and the polka dot paper on the bottom of the card in a 1 inch strip. Really cute.
Where does time go?
I have been so busy again the last couple of weeks. Hope I can get caught up for a change. Here are some of the newest cards that I have been working on.

New Stamps from Great Impressions
Hooray, It's Your Day
I think he is adorable.
I don't like how the pencils colored the monkey at all. I blended the pencils with gamsol and it didn't do what I wanted it to do. But it worked okay for my son's birthday.
Next card with this monkey, I will try the Tombow markers and see what they do.
I used My Minds Eye paper and I think the monkey is from Stampendous.
